The 7 band puzzle ring series contains the most complicated and challenging puzzles of all! Our 7 band puzzle ring instructions are intended for the puzzle rings crafted by our jewellers. However these 7 band puzzle ring instructions should work for others as well.

Here are the steps to follow: 

1.     In your left hand, hold the center band so the smooth top part of the band is facing up.

2.     With your right hand, take one of the bands hanging from the bottom of the rings, bring it up and place it next to the center band – when looking down on it at this stage these two bands form a D shape.

3.     Now hold your 7 band puzzle ring with your right hand and with your left hand bring up the other band that hung from the bottom of the rings and place it next to the other side of the center band – it's good to note that these two bands are the rounded outside bands when your 7 band puzzle ring is assembled.

4.     While holding these three bands close, bring up the two bands similar in shape to the two side bands up on an angle. The band on the right should be on top of the other band.

5.      Grab the two remaining bands that are hanging down and let the other bands fall to one side.

6.     With your right hand hold the band stamped “Jose” with the stamp facing you, and in your left hand, hold the other band parallel to the stamped band.

7.       Turn the band in your left hand clockwise from the top until you have turned it 180 degrees. This should bring the parallel bands together, with the tops of the bands forming an X when viewed from above.

8.      While holding these bands together, rotate the first band on the side facing you until the bumpy part of the band is on the inside of your puzzle ring. Now the bumpy part on the inside should be over the remaining loose bands.

9.     Now bring this band up and fit it against the first two bands.

10.    While holding these bands together, rotate the first band on the other side until the bumpy part of the band is on the inside of your ring. Now the bumpy part on the inside should be over the remaining loose bands.

11.   Now bring this band up and fit it against the first three bands.

12.    While holding the four bands together, gently push the center band down between these four bands. Let these bands loosen just enough to get the center band between them - this makes assembling your ring easier.

13.    While holding these bands together, rotate the remaining band on the opposite side until the bumpy part of the band is on the inside of your 7 band puzzle ring. Now the bumpy part on the inside should be over the remaining loose band. Now bring this band up and fit it against the other bands.

14.   Rotate the remaining band until the bumpy part of the band is on the inside of your puzzle ring.

15.    Bring this band up and fit it against the other bands to complete your ring. 

And there you go! Now your 7 band puzzle ring is reassembled and ready to wear! If you find it too difficult to solve and put your puzzle ring back together in the one sitting, leave it, take a break, and come back to it later.
