The 6 band puzzle ring series is a more complicated puzzle than the four band puzzle rings and provides design flexibility of infinite variety. The extra bands in the 6 band puzzle ring provide more texture and width. Our 6 band puzzle ring instructions are intended for the puzzle rings crafted by our jewellers. However these 6 band puzzle ring instructions should work for others as well.

Here are the steps to follow: 

1.     In your left hand, hold the band with the “1” stamp so the bumpy part of the band is facing up – this band is one of the rounded outside bands when your puzzle ring is assembled.

2.     Bring the band with the “2” stamp up so that it and the “1” band are against each other and the bumpy parts are forming a diamond shape – it's good to note that this band is the other rounded outside band when your puzzle ring is assembled.

3.     With your right hand, grab hold of the band with the “4” stamp so that the stamp is facing you and the flat part of the band is facing up. Let the first two bands (“1” and “2”) fall to one side.

4.     Bring the other band with the “4” stamp up and fit it next to the first “4” band.

5.      With your left hand, grab hold of the two bands with the “3” stamp and fit them together. Then bring both bands with the “3” stamp up to the “4” bands until the bands are almost against one another.

6.       Turn the “3” bands clockwise from the top until you have turned them 180 degrees. This should bring the “3” and “4” bands together, with the tops of the bands forming an X when viewed from above.

7.      While holding the “3” and “4” bands together, rotate the “2” band until the bumpy part of the band is on the inside of your puzzle ring. Now the bumpy part on the inside should be over the loose “1” band.  Bring the “2” band up and fit it against the “3” and “4” bands.

8.     Rotate the “1” band until the bumpy part of the band is on the inside of your ring.

9.    Bring the “1” band up and fit it against the other bands to complete your puzzle ring. 

And there you go! Now your 6 band puzzle ring is reassembled and ready to wear! If you find it too difficult to solve and put your puzzle ring back together in the one sitting, leave it, take a break, and come back to it later.
